SK Franchise · the office for a franchise network

Run every outlet from one office.

Applications, onboarding, royalties, settlements, the Marketing Fund, agreements and deadlines — the whole life of a franchise network in one place. Head office sees every outlet; each franchisee sees only their own.

Why it's different

The franchise office, minus the spreadsheets.

Five things head office usually tracks in a shared sheet and a WhatsApp group — done so nothing slips between them.

From application to go-live, one stage at a time

An outlet moves from application through onboarding to go-live. Each stage has a gate. The onboarding checklist asks for the right documents, and each document is checked by two different people before the outlet can open.

  • Checklists built from your own onboarding template
  • Documents reviewed by two people, never one
  • Go-live happens all at once, or not at all

A royalty structure you can change without rewriting the past

Royalties follow rules you set — a percentage, bands, which outlets they apply to. Change the rule and you get a new version. Every settlement keeps the version it was calculated with, so last quarter's numbers never move.

  • Percentages, revenue bands and outlet scope
  • A rule is frozen the moment a settlement uses it
  • The calculation is the same every time it runs

Two people approve before anyone is billed

A settlement is calculated from the outlet's revenue and its royalty rule, then waits for approval. It needs two approvers, and the same person cannot approve twice. Once approved, it is posted to SK Billing as an invoice, with GST, exactly once.

  • Approval quorum set in your own approval policy
  • Posted settlements can't be edited — only replaced
  • Payments can never exceed what is outstanding

A Marketing Fund that can't be overspent

Outlets contribute to a shared Marketing Fund, and head office spends from it. The available balance accounts for what has already been committed, so two people spending at the same moment can't take it below zero.

  • Contributions tracked per outlet
  • Spending committed against the available balance
  • Franchisee view of fund spending is off by default

Four roles, one office

The Owner sees everything. Operations runs onboarding and the outlets. Finance runs royalties, settlements and payments. A franchisee sees their own outlet — its agreement, its settlements, its deadlines — and nothing about anyone else's.

  • Roles come from your SoftKnack account — no separate login
  • Agreements, payments and deadlines per outlet
  • Reports for head office across the whole network

That's five of many.

Agreements and renewals, payment reminders, a task queue for head office, search across the network, and settings for every template.

Built on the rest of SoftKnack.

Sign-in and roles come from your SoftKnack account. Royalty invoices are raised in SK Billing, documents live in SK Drive, agreements are signed in SK Sign and reminders go out through SK Notifications — so there is one copy of each, not a franchise-only one.

Fair questions, straight answers.

Is this accounting software?
No. SK Franchise works out what each outlet owes and why. The invoice itself is raised in SK Billing, and payments are recorded against it. Your books stay where they are.
We changed our royalty percentage. What happens to old settlements?
Nothing. The change becomes a new version of the rule. Every settlement keeps the version it was calculated with, so a month that is already settled never changes. Only new settlements use the new rule.
What can a franchisee see?
Their own outlet: its agreement, its settlements and payments, and its deadlines. They cannot see other outlets. Whether they can see how the Marketing Fund was spent is your choice, and it is off until you turn it on.
